Glass Sword
⭐⭐⭐⭐
I can't. I just can't. That ending again get me, Victoria is just so great in plot twists!
It felt a bit slower than the first book, added more inner monologues (still missing the another person's view). Mare.. oh Mare... I do not hate her, I'm just disappointed. I get it, she went through a lot, was forced to do many things, lost herself, was betrayed, played with, many wanted her dead BUT so did Cal! And Cal haven't lost his human side, he is still able to think, be real and love. Mare made some really bad decisions in this book (I wanted to punch her sooooo baaaad, or shake some sense in her), and never gonna forget how she treated Cal. My heart is still hurt for him, and want to know what happened with him and the others (if its still only Mare's view, that's not gonna happen soon). Maven is a great villain but still something not adding in his character ( you can judge me, but still have a hope for him, although have no fucking idea how he can come out of this). Not ship Mare & Maven, don't get me wrong, but there is just something in him. Of course don't think that Mare deserve any of the guys (especially Cal, he deserves much better). Maybe Kilorn would be fine for her and that's because I not really like him. They can make each other miserable for all I care.Must admit there is still a chance to get back Mare to a good side where I like her again, but not beside Cal.
